It would appear that there is one candidate for an at-large council seat who truly has the qualifications to help move this city forward.
Three of the biggest needs for our city are road repairs, flood protection and a council member with good general business experience. Ralph Russell meets all of those requirements. As a civil engineer, he brings the professional qualifications to help guide the city to the best results for our street improvements and water control. As a retired president and CEO of a successful local engineering firm, he brings the general business sense to help keep this city of its road to recovery and ongoing economic viability.
What more could we ask for, a candidate with professional experience in exactly what we need willing to give his time and effort for our benefit by serving on the council.
Number one: Please take the time to vote in the runoff election. Number two: Please vote for Ralph Russell to allow him to use his professional expertise to help our city.
