Rule change punishes those who obey laws

I have a simple response to the Feb. 16 editorial about not letting big motors on Lake Macbride: Bull. I love to fish and have a fishing boat with a large motor. When I use it on Macbride at a no-wake speed, I cause fewer problems than a 9.9 horsepower motor (which is legal on the lake) pushing a boat through the water.
I know your argument is that there is a lake just on the other side of the dam where I can use my boat. Have you ever tried to fish on Coralville Lake? It is impossible because of all the pleasure boats that are running up and down the lake.
As a fisherman, all I would like is basically the same thing: A quiet place to fish. I feel the people who would use big motors on Macbride also would be just seeking a quiet place to fish.
