Romney’s denials about Bain don’t hold up

Me thinks Mitt Romney dost protest too much over President Barack Obama's attacks on his time at Bain Capital. Romney's denials of his time at Bain between 1999 and 2002 will not hold up under future scrutiny.
Until 2002, he signed multiple SEC documents stating he was Bain's chief executive officer, president and sole stockholder, including new partnerships formed in 2002, three years after he said he had nothing to do at Bain. By the way, Romney received $100,000 a year for doing nothing at Bain.
There is an email from Romney in 1999 stating that even though he was turning over all day-to-day operations to his partners, he would stay involved in a limited way with conferences, phone calls and board meetings on an intermittent basis.
While defending his Massachusetts residency, when running for governor in 2002, he stated he came back for numerous conferences and board meetings at Bain from 1999 to 2002.
