Romney is for women's health care

Regarding the May 27 guest column by Catherine Glasson (“Romney is too extreme for women in Iowa”):
Iowa women are getting the best health care available to them. Case in point, the new medical mall under construction in Cedar Rapids. Additionally, Iowa City is world renowned in its health care for male and female alike.
But what troubles Iowa the most is that President Obama has given exemptions to various groups including unions, and SEIU in particular.
However, to say that “When it comes to Mitt Romney, there is nothing empowering or encouraging for Iowa women concerning our health, our rights and our own decisions,” is factually wrong. Especially when most everyone agrees that Obama took a page out of Mitt Romney's Massachusetts health care program.
Madam president of the SEIU, which is it? Did the president write up the health care bill by mimicking Romney's health care plan for Massachusetts, or did he not?
Lastly, with Mrs. Romney going through breast cancer and having multiple sclerosis, Iowa women would all agree that Mitt Romney is for women's health care and to empower us, absolutely.
