Rod Blum’s column was insincere

Rep. Rod Blum hitched up the honey wagon to deliver his July 22 guest column, 'We must stand up to hateful rhetoric.” Most of the column portrayed himself and Republicans as victims of hateful speech. It ended with an insincere call for bipartisanship.
Ironically, the same day the column was printed he proudly announced that he would be hosting President Donald Trump, mocker of the disabled, disrespecter of veterans, derider of fallen heroes' families, inflamer of hate, ridiculer of all, and divider in chief.
Rep. Blum must surely know that whatever a man sows, this he also will reap.
