Robust economy best way to help middle class
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The Republican Party seems to be unable to convince enough voters that the bedrock principles of small government, low taxes and minimal regulation will benefit everyone, which they would. The best way to help the middle class is to have a robust, growth economy, but the messenger falls flat time after time.
The vicious, sleazy and lie-filled campaign Barack Obama and his pals ran should make any reasonable person sick, and also ashamed of what this country has become. John Adams, our second president, had it right after all, when he said, “Remember, Democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet they did not commit suicide.”
