Robinson will help get spending under control

When I open my tax bill, I'm shocked at how my taxes continue to escalate, while I get fewer services. Yet, instead of addressing our basic needs, the city council is spending money on projects like they're playing with monopoly money. This needs to stop! I am in favor of progress but we need to prioritize differently.
Cloyd “Robby” Robinson has no conflicts of interest that will deter him from representing the residents of District 4. He is a proven fiscal conservative. He spent 25 years on the board of directors of the National Taxpayers Union and 30 years as a taxpayer watchdog with Iowans for Tax Relief. We need a bulldog on council to fight for prudent spending.
When Robinson was our state senator, he proved to be an independent thinker. His prior experience as vice chair of the Hawkeye Labor Council helps him to understand job growth.
Robinson's goals are to protect and preserve Ellis Park, make the city small-business friendly, control costs, prioritize city spending and hold the line on property taxes. Join me in voting for Robinson.
