We have been privileged to have been represented in the Iowa Senate for the past 7 years by Rob Hogg. He has done an outstanding job.
He has provided significant leadership on a variety of issues, among which is water quality. He has taken the lead in proposing measures which, if followed, would reduce the amount of pollutants in our streams and allow for a reduction in the flow of water thereby reducing the severity of flooding. He is a champion of renewable fuels, of wind and solar energy, not only in the Senate but in the field, helping those who produce that energy to receive the encouragement and funding they need.
Above all, he has an open ear. He participates widely throughout the community, sharing his knowledge and insights and listening to those with ideas for improvement. He is an asset to the Senate and deserves to be re-elected on Nov. 4.
