Rioters and reporters are not above the law

Adam Sullivan was critical of law enforcement in Iowa City using force for crowd control during the riots. He conveniently calls them protests but when they progress to spray painting, damaging property and blocking the interstate it is no longer a protest. It's a riot. The rest of us have rights also.
Des Moines Register reporter's arrest, was she wearing reporter ID? One article said she left it in her car. Anyone can say, 'I'm a reporter.” Even then if the police ask you to disperse, only a fool protests a legal order and should be arrested. No matter what the press thinks they are not above the law.
