Rich, indeed, need to be grateful

In response to the guest column - “Rich need to be grateful, taxed” by Sally Jones - in the Nov. 28 Gazette: I hope enough of our elected officeholders in Washington have the common sense to do exactly what she advocates, for all the reasons she states.
If they do, it will be one step in the right direction toward keeping the American dream alive for those who are truly struggling.
