Research before donating to HSUS

In this open letter to consumers, I am requesting that you delve deeply into the hidden agenda of the Humane Society of the United States before donating to the cause of protecting defenseless animals.
Wayne Pacelle, leader of the HSUS, openly talks about its ultimate goal of ending the use of animals for food production. HSUS is using your good intentioned dollars to aid in passing restrictive laws, such as the ruling that was passed in California and has promoted the demise of chicken production in that state. I wish to alert you that Iowa may be the next target of their ambitious plan to change egg production in Iowa as we now rank first in egg production.
The infamous Pacelle has now added to HSUS tactics the prodding of fast food chains to buy only eggs and bacon from suppliers who adopt HSUS humane policies on raising chickens and pigs. The strategy is not hidden. The HSUS will buy stock to pressure restaurant chains to cave into their demands.
HSUS is not to be confused by the Humane Society of America, which works to protect animals. My advice, be cautious about your donations in order to protect agriculture's freedoms, your right to drink milk and protect your pocketbook.
