Repurpose used dryer sheets for stick weed

In response to the recent article about tenacious stick weed, I actually have found an easy way to remove all those annoying bitty burrs that cling to anything they come into contact with: used fabric softener sheets.
For some reason, the sheets gather those burrs quickly and efficiently. Just wipe a used dryer sheet (and a used sheet works much better than a fresh one, so you are even repurposing it) over the maddening stickers and they come right off.
Who knew?
