The Jan. 11 Gazette editorial included excellent comments about immigration, and immigrants. But your constant anti-Republican attitude is insulting and tiresome.
Everyone is welcome to come to the United States, but you have to sign-in if you want to stay. Get a Green Card, and become a citizen, and every opportunity is open to you. Go through the process.
There are important reasons for citizenship — protection of rights, access to public services, taxes, etc. We're not anti-immigrant, we Americans just want the laws enforced, the process followed, and then we can welcome our new friends and neighbors.
