Republicans should condemn Limbaugh's comments
The Gazette Opinion Staff
Mar. 17, 2012 12:19 am
It is more than a week following Rush Limbaugh's incredible outburst against private citizen Sandra Fluke. As should happen, sponsors have fled like rats from a sinking ship. They realize that a large portion of their customer base is female. Limbaugh did not only insult Fluke with his comments, but also nearly every woman in America.
But what is amazing is that no Republican candidate or office holder has yet to condemn Limbaugh's remarks. It is so sad to see a whole party so afraid of one man that they are unwilling to condemn an insult to half of the voters in this country.
This is a great example of the disregard that the Republican party holds for women in at all levels of government.
