Republicans restricting rights to win elections

We should be alarmed about the Republican attempts to restrict our voting rights by the false cry of 'voter fraud.” This is simply a political effort to win elections by a political party that no longer can win an election any other way.
Republicans also have used computer power and state legislative control to fix some voting districts to ensure Republican victories - rendering it virtually impossible to get a Democratic election in much of the country. And, the power of independent money has been unleashed to help Republicans, as is evident in the Iowa television campaign against Bruce Braley.
As citizens, we must insist upon fair elections so that democracy can function like it should. Somehow we must undo the Republican assault.
