Republicans are throwing a tantrum

You cannot defend the indefensible. Roughly two-dozen Republicans pulled a political stunt and barged into the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) during impeachment hearings. Many carried and used their smartphones, which are not allowed, causing a serious breach of national security.

Besides being unlawful and putting our national security at risk, this was nothing more than a giant tantrum. Republicans don't want to play by the rules they (Trey Gowdy and John Behner) put into place during the Benghazi hearings.

Republicans are leading their constituents to believe they are being kept in the dark and that there is no transparency. That is not the case. Republicans are represented in the hearings and get time to question the witnesses. More than a dozen of the legislators who stormed the testimony already serve on the committees overseeing the impeachment hearings and were allowed to be there.

Freshman representative, Matt Gaetz, is not a good role model for these Republicans. Gaetz also broke House rules when his staff handed out expired congressional passes to some uncredentialed reporters and the crew of HBO's The Swamp.

Will there be no consequences? When is enough going to be enough? We are better than this.
