Remember Pat Heiden is a party newcomer

Voters in the June 5 Democratic primary election should not be deceived into thinking all three Johnson County supervisor candidates are equally liberal in perspective or progressive in their policies.
Pat Heiden was a registered Republican for 34 of 36 years before switching her registration days before announcing her candidacy in 2016. That in itself is an affront to long-standing Democrats. Worse yet are the ideas she supports, which often reflect the relatively conservative views of groups that align with the rich and powerful of the Republican Party.
Be aware of this when you vote in the primary for Johnson County Supervisor.
