Reform critics want to destroy Obama

When did the health care debate dive into the deep end of the pool of fear and irrationality? There are right-minded and reasonable conservatives out there working against what they feel is the possibility of us becoming a socialist country in regards to health care. I understand that, though I do think it's irrational.
Is it a valid fear to think the government is overreaching at times? Sure. We just had eight years of overreaching. But we have to stick to what we know is true.
The words “death panel” don't exist in the bill going through Congress.
But the conservatives making genuine arguments about their concerns over health care are being drowned out. They're being smothered by selfish, arrogant, and narrow-minded hypocrites who would rather try to destroy a president than have a thoughtful debate or show true concerns for their constituents and the American people. Conservatives Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan were thoughtful debaters and I appreciated their views, though I may have not agreed with all of them.
But as far as I can tell, the current group is ruled by talking heads, mouthpieces and fear-mongers. Where is the party that taught me basic conservative ideals without all the drama?
