Redirected funds should have been used to fight COVID

Iowa received federal allocations totaling $37 million earmarked for coronavirus relief and pandemic aid. But Gov. Reynolds 'redirected” that money to cover the costs of state technology projects which had been planned long before the pandemic hit.
If that money had not been 'redirected,” how much PPE could it have purchased for hospitals and nursing homes?
How many contact tracers could have been hired?
How many more testing sites could have been opened?
How many schools could have received assistance with planning and implementing remote schooling?
How many Iowa COVID deaths might have been prevented? Shameful.
