Reader questions new workout facility

To the editor:
Thanks to The Gazette for the nice article on the $55 million University of Iowa football workout room ('Under one roof,” Aug. 26).
Without the article most of us wouldn't know how out of touch with reality we Iowans are. I can't decide which is dumber, a $55 million football building, a sport that promises concussions for kids, or promoting a culture with a sign on the wall that reads 'We will be Feared, Respected, Hated.”
And, yes, I too am a Hawk fan ... but?
