Reader grateful for act of kindness

To the editor:
On a recent Tuesday, I was meeting friends to attend a movie at Wehrenberg 16 on Council Street. I visited with the man in front of me while we were in line to buy our tickets. When I went to pay for my ticket, I was told he had paid my admission. The clerk told me his name was Jim.
Thank you, Jim, for brightening my day. This was a very nice gesture and a good reminder to me that I, too, can 'pay it forward.”
