Reader also wants to thank law enforcement

I was happy to read the guest column written by Peter Deegan, Jr. ('Thanks to all law enforcement officers,” May 16).
Having personally known many wonderful people in law enforcement over many years and across several states, I wholeheartedly support Deegan's glowing remarks in support of law enforcement everywhere. They have difficult jobs, are not fully appreciated, and do their jobs without complaint.
Deegan, I join you in saying loudly and clearly, 'Thank you!”
