Raising taxes not needed for repairs

To the editor:
There are plenty of cuts that could be made to have enough revenue to fix roads and bridges.
One significant cut would be the reduction of the number of county courthouses in the state.
Spending more time examining what is excessive spending versus looking for ways to increase the taxpayer burden should be the primary job of legislatures and governors.
Only by constant reminding them will we ever get this horse turned around.
