Question a school's use of "The 1619 Project"

Todd Dorman's recent column ("'Parents' rights,' but only for some" Nov. 7) touched on several topics of concern to parents.
Here, I will challenge Dorman's dismissive stance toward those questioning "The 1619 Project."
In her book "Debunking the 1619 Project," author Mary Grabar exposes the factual errors and misleading narratives in that work. Respected historians raise serious questions that Nikole Hannah-Jones, the face of "The 1619 Project"(and a journalist, not an historian), simply ignores.
Parents should continue to calmly and respectfully bring their concerns to school boards.
