Quest for transparency should be supported

I guess there must be some kind of gag order on the print media that may be hastening the demise of newspapers' ability to provide honest news.

For example, while we naive, trusting readers are still being print-fed Mother Nature blame for recent brutal, unnatural, exotic and persistent tornadoes, fake snow, fierce winds, massive flood/drought, and selective eruption of sleeping volcanoes, the Internet is abuzz with suspicions blaming Papa HAARP (High-intensity Active Aural Research Program), our war department's supposedly ultrasecret Alaskan weather-war weapon.

Since many other countries also have similar weather altering installations (Germany has two big ones located in Norway), and the whole world is using them, what's the secret? Why just deny the print media the information everybody else is getting from somewhere else?

Can't some of us get behind the newspapers in their constant quest for government transparency?
