Public library worth every cent

I read, with great regret, about the 'mistake” that caused FEMA to overpay for the new library. Just might be that this 'mistake” was a break that allowed Cedar Rapids to move forward to build the public library ('Audit shows FEMA overspent $10.8 million on library, Sept. 27”).
The facility has become a shining star in the flood recovery, not just for the downtown, but for the entire city. Not a mistake, but a blessing!
