Protesters should stop complaining, get a job
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I have been watching the groups that are demonstrating against Wall Street and now in some major cities. I find myself (after a typical 10-to-12-hour day running my own business) wondering how these people have the time to spend the whole day demonstrating? How do they support themselves while they complain that “they are entitled to their share?”
Then on Nov. 7, I saw on one of our major news networks another televised protest. This time it was a march in some location and the group was led by two individuals proudly carrying a large banner that read: “Occpuy America.” Now I swear this letter does not contain a typo, but I find I must reply. Get real, get off your butt and get to work. If the best you can do is to spend all day demonstrating, when you don't even spell your cause's name right, the problem is not corporate America. Rather, it's a lot closer to yourself. This country does not owe you a thing. Real success comes from inside. Stop your belly achin'.
