Protect library by voting yes for levy

To the editor:
We urge the community to support our local library by voting for the 27-cent levy. The library opens the world to us for free.
If passed, this levy will support all aspects of the library; maintain the hours the library is open; provide new and up-to-date materials; invest more in the Every Child Ready to Read program and the Adult Literacy program; increase partnership opportunities with area schools; be able to continue offering classes and outreach for free; and continue to provide technology for free.
We are fortunate to have a library like ours. Please vote yes for the library levy so we can preserve the high quality of services we have.
