Problem: Stock Markets are plunging downward. Tariffs are on and off. The U.S. economy is unstable. Prices are rising.
On March 11, the Democrats in the U.S. House tried to have a vote on a resolution removing emergency mandate which allows the President to enact tariffs. The Republicans blocked the resolution by enacting a procedural measure that from Tuesday to end of session be considered as only one day thus preventing any vote to stop tariffs.
Solution: Rep Mariannette Miller-Meeks voted for the procedural measure blocking debate. Stocks continue downward. No solution. The House gives its power back to the president. Problems continue.
