Priest’s ordination was an inspirational event

I just returned from one of the most joyous and uplifting religious ceremonies I have attended. I was able to celebrate the ordination to the priesthood of Mary Kay Kusner.
Mary Kay is one of those people whose lives has clearly indicated their dedication to God and to others, critical aspects of a priestly calling. Those attending the ceremony were clearly joined by the Holy Spirit in unity and love.
It is clear that the call of God cannot be deterred by human censure. I am impressed by those who persevere in that calling despite obstacles. Congratulations, Mary Kay!
