President Obama's acts have diminished security, freedoms
The Gazette Opinion Staff

I am a U.S. Navy veteran who always has been proud of being an American and thankful for the liberties and freedoms we have all enjoyed being Americans.
My decision for the presidential election is influenced not as much by President Obama's failure to effectively govern than by how he has failed to live up to his oath of office “to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States” and uphold the nation's laws.
Many things about the campaign are debatable, but there is no doubt that the collective acts of the president have diminished our security, liberties and freedoms.
