Preserving wooded area will help youth
The Gazette Opinion Staff

It was refreshing to read in The Gazette (“C.R. outdoor education center planned,” Jan. 3) how Dave Blankenship plans to preserve the wooded area on Seminole Valley Road for an outdoor education center rather than having it developed as residential lots. He is to be commended for putting the youth of our city ahead of any personal gain.
It seems that the winners are not only the youth of our area, but also the neighbors who still will have a line of trees between the proposed camp and their properties.
