Praising Block by Block’s efforts

Your Feb. 26 editorial, “A partnership well done,” was well done and timely. Through the generosity and efforts of the Block by Block organization, lives have been put back together and the stock of affordable rental units has been enlarged.
The coordinating of volunteers from across the country and the quality of the work they did in “rehabbing” was outstanding! The total command they took in the rehabilitation of buildings and the conscientiousness in which they carried out the work was amazing.
Their total effort, together with forgivable loans for materials required for the work, will go a long way in making the properties affordable and very livable.
Yes, it was a “partnership well done.”
