Post office, increase service along with rates

You can pay 44 cents to have a letter delivered, by the Postal Service or you could be like me and pay more than $40 to have two boxes delivered to the same address in California. Then you can wonder why one box made it and apparently the other box hadn't even made it to the sort facility in Des Moines six days after both boxes were taken to post office. I have receipts to confirm when I took them to the post office.
Now if the box can't be found soon I will have to pay for 25 packages of Girl scout cookies because those who ordered in California are certainly not going to pay for cookies they didn't receive. If the Post Office wants to beat a bad rap, then it needs to step up its service along with the rate increases.
