Poll used in governor’s race story shows bias
The Gazette Opinion Staff

The June 17 article, “New poll shows Branstad leading Culver 57 to 31 percent,” in which The Gazette cites a poll by Rasmussen Reports, has an interesting back story.
The June 17 Washington Post has an extensive article questioning the validity of Rasmussen polling, the conservative bias. The Post states: “ ... traditional news outlets - including this one - have refused to cite his polls.”
I hope that future Gazette articles live up to the standard of “traditional news outlets” including the Washington Post.
