Politicians deserve ‘Sandbox’ award

Many years ago I found myself listening to a broadcast from a powerful southern radio station. The broadcaster was talking about some local government officials who were behaving like children at play. He suggested that a 'You Can't Play in My Sandbox Award” be created and presented as appropriate.
As I observe the ongoing political situation in Washington, D.C., I think it's time to re-create this award and present it jointly to the president and Congress. Their actions, especially the recent government shutdown, surely make them qualified.
