Poe a proven leader who solves problems

Following the flood of 2008, many organizations and businesses, including our historic apartment building, struggled due to the destruction of the steam system. The system efficiently provided heat in the core of our community, including Coe College, both St. Luke's and Mercy hospitals and several of our largest manufacturers and businesses.
As the community liaison to the Rebuild Iowa Office, Ann Poe went to work, attending meeting after meeting, pushing and recommending a combination of both state and federal dollars to be committed for those of us in our community that lost this essential service. The funding she helped to secure for our city provided the necessary dollars to many for heat conversion systems.
Ann's leadership counts: Give her a problem or an issue and watch as she proactively brings people together to find a solution. Cedar Rapids needs “can-do” leaders like Ann to continue to move us forward.
