To the editor:
We who live in Hawkeye-land are privileged to witness the incredible accomplishments of our Hawkeye football team. Our players deserve all the credit. Coaches Kirk Ferentz, Greg Davis and Norm Parker have done a superb job of preparing our team to compete at the highest level.
I do agree with ESPN analysts who attribute this year's phenomenal success to the quality of our receivers as well as the high level of fitness and strength of our players as a whole. In this regard, two unsung heroes must be recognized: Bobby Kennedy, receivers coach, and Chris Doyle, fitness and strength coach.
Our Hawkeyes are flying high. The enormous wide sky is the limit. Viva Hawks and Viva France.
