Place a non-smoking area in casino

Hurray for a potential Cedar Crossing Casino! Really?
I have supported efforts to date through editorials because I feel it will add to the excitement and growth readily visible in our community. Now I read that smoking will be allowed on the “primary gaming floors.” I didn't see that one coming, although I probably should have.
Does non-smoking exist in non-primary gaming areas? Some clarification is needed. My earnestness for a local casino is now smoky at best. Do smokers spend more gambling dollars than non-smokers? There must be some interesting insights on the matter among local casino investors. Could those insights and any supporting statistics be shared with us non-smokers?
In any event, I cannot believe that a decent sized non-smoking area won't be available. Of course, if the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission does not issue a license, the whole matter goes up in smoke.
