People’s gardens are not for the picking

I am very angry. I went out to my rental garden at Squaw Creek on Wednesday evening to water and work. Maybe even get some produce. I discovered that someone had been there before me and took what they wanted.
I paid for the plot, the seeds and some plants. I had ordered special seeds from a catalog. I have been waiting patiently for the special gourds. They were coming along beautifully. I was waiting for the appropriate time to pick them so they wouldn't rot. A thief decided it was time.
I talked to my gardening neighbors and discovered that they also had been robbed. One man told me they took his onions and a cabbage he had been growing for his mother. Another said they had taken her green beans.
With the weather, bugs and deer to vie for our produce, this was the straw that broke my back. I won't be back next year. Yes, it is stealing!
