People won’t let leftists shove agenda
The Gazette Opinion Staff

Recent events at town hall meetings around the country have revealed the ugly face of the leftists. Where there should be honest discourse and discussion, we now have violence and intimidation perpetuated and encouraged by the Democratic Party. They are determined to force their socialized medicine on us, even though the majority of Americans oppose it.
We understand this plan will strip us of our freedoms, reduce the quality and quantity of care and further tank our economy. Americans are standing up and saying no, and the leftists can't handle it. Through dishonesty and sheer thuggery, they are trying to ramrod their socialist agenda on us.
They thought we would roll over for them and take it; they were wrong. They thought we would give up our freedoms willingly; they were wrong.
Tyrants from King George to Saddam Hussein have underestimated the American people, to their detriment. The political class is making the same mistake, and it will cost them. Politicians who support President Barack Obama's agenda, no matter which party they belong to, should be removed from office. They do not have the country's best interest in mind.
