Patron gouged by theatre ticket fees

To the editor:
A buyer beware alert. A recent phone purchase of tickets to the Shoji Tabuchi concert on Dec. 16 at the Cedar Rapids Paramount Theatre generated an unwanted extra ticket cost for over $7 per ticket for those of us who order by phone.
In person, box office purchases amount to only $3 per ticket regardless of the number ordered. (I ordered six tickets by phone and my extra cost was $42.56 over ticket price.)
I used to think the Ticketmaster extra charge was outrageous. The Paramount Theatre management clearly outdistances Ticketmaster for patron gouging.
