Pat Heiden's willingness to serve on the Johnson County Board of Supervisors is an exciting opportunity for us to elect a proven leader. We urge a vote for Heiden in the June 5 primary election.
Her commitment to elderly services, mental health care and land stewardship are concerns we share. To Heiden, these commitments are not campaign slogans - they are lifelong areas of personal and professional emphasis. We know she listens and serves with energy and integrity and will bring her collaborative approach to county governance. We have seen it first hand.
Our 18 years as rural residents gave us a special appreciation for the responsibilities of county government. As ardent supporters of the quality of life in Iowa and, specifically our community, we believe Heiden is a superb candidate to assure that Johnson County has the best possible leadership moving forward in a productive, collegial way. Early voting begins Monday, May 7, so, you can soon join us in supporting Heiden with your ballot.
