Passage of bill requires explanation

To the editor:
The rich get richer, and that's OK, unless it's at the expense of our nation's security or puts our military in harm's way.
The recent passing of the bill (HR 351), which if ultimately clears all the reviews, would allow the exportation of liquefied natural gas to countries with which America does not have free-trade agreements, state sponsors of terrorism and countries or firms that use cyber attacks to steal U.S. intellectual property and military technology.
As reported in The Gazette on Feb. 1, Rod Blum, David Young and Steve King voted in favor of this bill. Why? They owe the people an explanation. On the surface this bill sounds to be very un-American. Are these men paying attention to the consequence of their vote?
