Party of Trump is above the law

At this moment in history, there is no longer a Republican Party, there is only the Party of Trump. There is no longer an America. It is now Trumpland, run by a fascist dictator with no morals, who is never wrong and who is above the law.

I cry for my country when it incarcerates children ripped from the arms of their parents, perhaps never again to be reunited.

I cry for my country when it alienates the western world and aligns itself with brutal dictators.

I cry for my country as it becomes the laughing stock of the entire world.

I try to console myself with the belief that the Trump reign will end somehow and that his infamy will live on as a lesson to my country. History will not treat kindly his Faustian bargain that exchanges moral and spiritual values for wealth and power. His legacy of evil forever will be associated with his name, no matter how many loyal followers still cling to him. Of that I am certain.

I appeal to my fellow citizens to vote this assault on democracy and decency out of power in November.
