Outrageous law denies grandparents visitation

There is a ridiculous, outdated state law in Iowa that needs to be changed. It denies visitation rights to grandparents.
Contact your legislative representatives and ask them to change this law. Their address and e-mail address can be found at the following Web site: www.legis.state.ia.us/FindLeg/
You never know when a parent or grandparent who is viewed as an upstanding, churchgoing member of the community will reveal his or her true heartless, cruel nature and deny visitation to grandparents, especially when they have created a close bond with their grandchildren.
When this happens, the laws should not punish the innocent. If anything there should be a law declaring such an act as child abuse.
Parents and grandparents who treat their children in this manner are not fit to be parents and should have their parental rights revoked.
