Our volunteers help make ‘Hope Bloom’

Because of the generous spirit of so many people throughout the Corridor, 39,000 daffodils were delivered from Newports Flower Shop, our hosting venue, to individuals and cancer patients via the Hope Blooms/Gems of Hope volunteer force.
A very big and sincere thank you to our ‘Hope Blooms' presenting sponsor, Helen G. Nassif Community Cancer Center, along with our many supporting sponsors, both financial and in-kind, and last but not least, to the scores of volunteers. Without all of you, we simply could not provide these daffodils to so many in the area.
As Gems of Hope approaches our 14th anniversary in July, we continue to be humbled at the generosity our community has shown us in embracing our mission of 'bringing hope to cancer patients and their families.”
Hope does bloom in many ways and, this week, when you see a yellow daffodil, know this flower is our first sign of spring and also a sign of hope for our area cancer patients.
