Our right to privacy is being violated

To the editor:
'Hello seniors!” 'This is Rachel” or is it Heather now? 'There's nothing wrong with your credit card but ...” 'You've won a free cruise,” or is it a Life Alert system?
Our government, from our county supervisors to the president, is dead set on passing new laws and regulations with the goal to waste our money and raise taxes.
What would be wrong with controlling wasteful spending and enforcing a few of our sensible needed regulations? Maybe in the process, they could figure out how to stop taking away our rights and giving away our heritage.
We're supposed to have a right to privacy and life without harassment. Yet, no cell lists, saying no, or hanging up can't stop unsolicited telemarketing from coming from every area code in and out of this country.
It's time for it to stop. Make these buzzards obey existing rights to privacy.
