Our governor’s stance on child migrants shames us all

I was ashamed of Gov. Kim Reynolds and of our great state after reading of her refusal to help migrant children because they are "the president's problem."

We are the same state where Republican Gov. Robert Ray saved so many Vietnamese refugees decades ago. He made us proud by showing how generous we can be. She shames us by showing how petty and political she is.

She claims to be a Christian; she should remember the words in Matthew 25:45: “Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.“
