Our freedoms are being extinguished

To the editor:
Regarding the article 'C.R. parks smoking ban takes next step,” published May 20:
Now the busybodies have determined that they have every right in the world to squash the freedoms of their neighbors to the point that free American citizens are going to be legally deterred from puffing on even an electronic vaporizer. Is there any right that the citizens of this country are not willing to give up to do-gooders who think they can live your life better than you can? Is there any vestige of rugged individualism left?
Come on Cedar Rapidians, show a little spine and tell this brilliant band of smoke Nazis to jump in Cedar Lake. I don't smoke, but I've never been offended by the faint aroma of a distant cigar being smoked, nor have I ever witnessed anyone fall to their knees in agony from having electronically produced water vapor contact them.
It's outside for gosh sakes!
